UVA stands for Ultra Violet Ageing. The same rays that give us our beautiful tan are the rays that penetrate all the layers and components of the skin. These rays melt the fibre tissues, mutate cells and produce free radicals. The other ray, UVB, is the short for Ultra Violet Burning. These rays have a shorter reach than UVA rays and only fry the top layers of the skin and cause sunburn.
It is imperative to use an SPF every day. The skin on your face, neck and décolleté, is more delicate than other parts of the body and much more susceptible to damage than other areas which contain thicker cells and more collagen and elastin.
If you cover your face like you cover your ass, you will have a face like a babe until the end!
